In preparation for this blog post, I was reviewing the images we are going to feature and I noticed something about the first image in this blog post. The girl's shirt. And it made my heart sing.

So, I'm gonna tell you guys a little story.

Earlier this week, I was in another Facebook group, when I saw an image posted by a photographer who was asking for CC and mentioned that she was rather new to photography. The comments that followed blew my mind.....they were unkind, belittling, and devoid of any compassion whatsoever. All I wanted to say was "F*%$ you all, she's new and what the hell do you know???" But I didn't and instead sent her a PM telling her that I was sorry that had happened to her and that I hope that didn't give her a bad taste for the photog community as a whole. Because we are PROOF POSITIVE that is NEVER has to be like that! There's no room in UnRaveled for any behavior remotely resembling that.
Sarah and I built this company on the platform of love, inclusivity and mutual respect. That is our stand and we will not budge. We feel so fortunate that we have NEVER had to reprimand or remove a member due to this type of behavior, and we hope we never well. Because OUR COMMUNITY is AWESOME and full of love.
