Our Students Unraveled + Another Release Week!!
November is a complex month; full of celebrations, overeating and lush colors, as well as cold weather stealing in, giving us frosty mornings hinting at the scarcity to come. We feel both full and anticipatory of the long winter ahead. This week is also release week for us in the Academy which is when we publish new content for our students to indulge in. This release week is extra special because we are releasing something a little bit different than our usual. Keziah Kelsey of Baby Rose Photography is working with us to release Creative Core 101. This is a new interactive segment of Unraveled and it’s going to involve journaling, sketching, yoga, meditation, art and so much more. This month, Keziah will lead our community in creative practice, as we lean into the complexities of the month and reflect upon the idea of opulence and abundance. Keziah is bringing her experience as an art educator to our community and will be providing our students structure, direction, and the opportunity to engage in creative practice that will stretch our muscles and ultimately make us stronger artists. This is a new wave of learning that we think our students are going to seriously dig. If you aren’t a member, now is the time to join us!
On top of the release of Creative Core and other new lessons and courses this week, we also have our student feature blog here. We love celebrating the abundance of artists that we are lucky to surround ourselves with here at UA. Also, because we are embracing the idea of opulence in CC this month, we thought it would be appropriate to also do so here and share 16 images, rather than 15. The truth is, it was impossible to narrow it down. So we are over-abundantly celebrating November with these incredible artists below….
Unraveled Artist of the Year:
Each week, we choose one artist to be named as an Unraveled Artist of the Year. We look forward to sharing our 2019 list of noteworthy artists in the next coming months.
