At its core, photography is simply light. We add a lot of emotion and meaning to it, but if we really strip it all the way down, photography is just light. Thankfully we don’t live in a stripped down state, we live in a world full of meaning and emotion— of pain and love— and even if it is just light, it is our light. This light that we see and that we capture is the words we cannot always find or express. So, where a normal person sees light, a photographer sees the opportunity for a story to unfold.

This is light.
