CONGRATULATIONS TO THE NEWEST UNRAVELED ARTIST OF THE YEAR…
Sydney Elizabeth Hume
This week, we are honored to celebrate Sydney Elizabeth Hume as our Unraveled Artist of the Year. Sydney is an indigenous artist, mama, wife, and creative spirit based in Lloydminster, Alberta. She describes herself as an extroverted introvert, a music fanatic, an animal lover, and above all, an empath — qualities that flow gently into her work.
Her winning image — a tender black and white frame of a mother’s belly cradled by her children’s hands — carries both intimacy and universality. Like much of Sydney’s portfolio, it feels raw and soulful, a quiet moment turned into timeless art. We are so grateful for Sydney’s presence in our circle and thrilled to honor her as this week’s Unraveled Artist of the Year.
