This image by Kade Bailey was taken in the Yucca Valley — and Kade carries the desert in her bones: wild, sun-kissed, untamed. A Canadian firecracker with a therapist’s heart and a rebel’s backbone, she’s the kind of woman you never fully see at first glance… and that’s exactly the point. Reserved at first, quiet even — but that quiet is only the doorframe to a whole universe of grit, intuition, and courage.
In this photograph, Kade offers us a piece of that universe.
A woman leaning into the light, surrendering to heat, to breath, to the unapologetic truth of her own body.
It feels both feral and soft.
Raw, yet beautifully self-possessed.
Exactly like Kade.
A photographer who sees beyond the surface.
An Unraveled instructor — in person and online — who pours her whole, blazing heart into the artists she guides.
And let’s be honest:
Kade has the biggest balls of any woman we know.
