Alexis Peterson
Alexis Peterson is a photographer and storyteller from Los Angeles, and an Unraveled instructor. Learn from her in her course, Feral Feminine.
We chose this image for Artist of the year because it’s perfect example of skill and style. This black and white shot of a skater, with their hair flying forward, captures motion in such a powerful way. The composition, timing, sharp focus and touch of blur all work together effortlessly. It’s the kind of shot where you know, the second you take it, that you nailed the perfect moment and that’s something we want to celebrate!
Huge congratulations to Alexis and to all the incredible artists featured this week! Every time we sit down to choose, we’re reminded just how tough it is to pick from the insane talent that calls Unraveled HOME. And trust us, that’s no exaggeration.
