Our Students, Unraveled | We are thankful!!
I love Thanksgiving. Considering we are a global community, I realize that not all of us celebrate this holiday so I will try to keep it short. But, if there is any holiday that makes me stop and appreciate having a warm house full of people who I love and the means to serve a delicious and beautiful meal to fill our bellies, it is this one.
So, even if you do not celebrate Thanksgiving and have no intention of stuffing your face with turkey on Thursday. Take a moment to think about what you are grateful for…because it’s good for you. It’s so important to focus on the good.
So:
I am grateful for this community.
For every single artist who graces us with their presence here
and for these images that have inspired me deeply today.

Each week, we choose one artist to be named as an Unraveled Artist of the Year. We look forward to sharing our 2019 list of noteworthy artists in the next coming months.
This week, we choose Aly Nickerson whose image could not be more fitting for Thanksgiving week. This image makes us feel at home. It reminds us of our childhoods, of family and togetherness, of full bellies and everything that is right with the world. The light, the people — we can almost smell the turkey!
