What gear did you use for this shoot?

Canon 5D Mark IV and Sigma 35!
I used a ziplock baggy over my lens to get the dreamy effect on some images.

What was your “muse” or inspiration for this shoot?

The couple, Jessy and Perry, were muses themselves. I had followed Jessy for a few years after I saw their photos with Nirav Patel. That was the first session I saw when I first started photography that actually TOLD a story. They did it so seamlessly. My partner, Riley, and I were so honored to photograph them in their home. We went there during sunrise and Perry made us coffee with lots of love. We spoke a little before getting started and getting to know each other in person after talking online for so long. The whole morning was the vehicle that drove the musings that help create these images. A genuine raw love is my muse. The love that enwraps your very being from just the presence of it. That was them. I wanted these to be like still frames from an indie love story that makes you laugh, cry, fall in love with the characters.
