The Muse is our way of bringing inspiration to the creative world. Seeing a photographer for just one picture is not the whole picture… so we are bringing you more, to give you a deeper look into the artists who inspire us and we call, muses.

What was your “muse” or inspiration for this shoot?

A repeat client, turned friend had reached out about documenting the family during their first home build, tuned renovation. Her husband is actually a well known up and coming builder in our area and he's a super busy guy! It was extra special and personal that he was working on his own families project. She sent her inspo board and I immediately got sooo stoked to execute and put our own personal magic dust on the idea.. They've been trying for a third baby for a while, which is why they wanted to add on and renovate. God hasn't blessed them yet in that regard, but I felt so many butterflies in their presence and just know this family deserves so much abundance! I loved framing of the exposed beams, the warmth of morning coffee and cinnamon rolls, the plans, the chalk and the drawings imprinted. It really was a love story.
