We never want to wish summer away, but there is something so good about settling back into a routine, finding a little breathing room, and having time to create again. Judging by this week’s Artist Feature submissions, it looks like a lot of you are feeling it too. So many beautiful images have been shared lately, and we cannot wait to see more and more as we all find our way back to a little normalcy.

Allison has been in and out of Unraveled since 2020, and we are so damn happy to have her back. We’ve been completely obsessed with the direction her work has taken…the warmth, the nostalgia and the little unexpected details.
This photograph is such a perfect example. The headscarves, the rain boots, the quiet moment by the water. It feels playful, tender, and wonderfully weird in the very best way. This image feels editorial, but somehow real life.
Allison, we cannot wait to see where you take your work next. You are absolutely one to watch, and we’re so excited to name you our Artist of the Year.
