This week we are celebrating Cait Bielefeldt as our Artist of the Year.
Cait has been putting in the work, and it shows. We’ve been watching her slowly define and refine her voice, and it has been exciting to witness. Her images are bold, playful, and full of personality. In a sea of beige, overly curated imagery, her work feels refreshing and alive.
We see Cait absorb all of what the academy has to offer, digests it, and then turns it into something uniquely her own. That’s where real artists begin to emerge from the picture takers.
