We are so stoked to be honoring Amie Akers, a true Unraveled OG but more than that she is a woman rooted in her faith who served those around her. Watching Amie evolve since the very first Unraveled Workshop in 2017 has been a gift. Her work has deepened without losing softness, and her perspective continues to grow in a way that feels honest and enduring. This image encapsulates that evolution. It demonstrates a quiet confidence, thoughtful execution, and an artist fully rooted in her voice.
This photograph carries unmistakable ’70s vibes and nostalgia. The color palette is rich and restrained, warm without being overpowering. The light falls with intention, shaping rather than flattening, giving the image depth and texture. Nothing here feels accidental, but nothing feels forced either. That balance between control and surrender is something Amie has refined over years of growth.
